In 1981, J. D. Rittenhouse was Division Vice President and General Manager, RCA Picture Tube Division. He became a corporate officer in 1982 with his appointment to a group vice president position. In 1985 he became Executive Vice President, Aerospace and Defense, RCA Corp., retaining that position until the merger with GE in 1986. At that time he became Senior Vice President, GE Aerospace.

Daddy, you are the most awesome man I know. It's good to be smart and constantly seek the truth; the reason why we are here and what we should be striving for. I think you have taught me- through your actions - that the most important thing is to love UNCONDITIONALLY those who love you. I will never forget, when in total desperation, I asked you to: "Make it all better. You have always made it all better. Only you know how to fix everything. Please, fix this Daddy." When you answered me, through your tears, "I can't fix this! I don't know how to fix this". I realized that a true teacher admits when they are unable to control the Law of the Universe. At some point, a real teacher understands that they will always be the "student." If you totally understand the reason for all of life's struggles, then ultimately, you should not even be here. It was at that moment that I realized just how wise you are. "Ego" does not reign over your intellect. My pain is and was, your pain.....as we are all ONE. For the rest of my life, I will always see you as the ideal best friend, the ideal husband, the ideal father. How lucky Mommy is. It is a rare thing, your love. It is about courage, hard work, mentoring, overcoming hardships and mostly, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Your mother didn't preach this, she LIVED this. I believe, with all of my heart, that Caroline Richenbach came to show you the way for my sisters and myself. How grateful I am to Grandpa. By his accepting a "weakness," he kept Grandma strong. How grateful I am to Uncle Jimmy for showing you that life's grandest opportunities are only achieved through morality and hard work. He taught you that whoever created this universe cares little of your backround. It is your heart and effort that is rewarded. Monetary gain is meaningless if you don't have love. I try everyday to live my life in this thought ethic. You will never be able to fix my mistakes or "make it all better," instead, you have given me something much better: the knowledge that I alone am responsible for my life. The trials are meant as learning tools, no matter how sharp or painful. Nothing "bad" can ever happen to me again. The state of "good" of "bad" is all a frame of mind. Ultimately, there are no bad experiences. There are only events in your life that provide you with experience. Experience = Knowledge.

How you chose to perceive all that occurs in your life is a matter of perspective. Learning VS Punishment. I believe it is all for our learning. Therefore, there is no good or bad. It all just "is." You have free will to take from the "is" anything you want. You have paved this road for me. I will enter another dimension knowing that You, Mother, my husband, my sons and my daughters have cleared the path. I have only one job... to love and to be open to all that comes my way... See you later, for all eternity... Me.
