He holds a BA from Yeshiva University, an MA from the City College of the City University of New York, and a PhD from Seton Hall University. Since joining RCA in 1969, he has worked in the areas of binders and coatings, liquid crystal materials, polymers, organic analysis, and the VideoDisc. He has previous experience in the chemical industry and has taught at the secondary and college levels.
