Hi everyone... I've been inspired to try and get my dad's ced player running and i've found I need to replace the belt on the Toshiba VP100 model. I see on this site you have instructions for replacing the belts on the RCA players, but on the Toshiba, there's a circuit board above the turntable that impedes access. I was wondering if anyone had a procedure for replacing the belts in the Toshiba models or even just some info on how to remove the board without busting it. Thanks!! |

There are instructions on the site for replacing the flat Toshiba turntable belt with a round belt at this URL:
http://www.cedmagic.com/tech-info/toshiba-pulley/toshiba-pulley.html
The procedure also requires the installation of a new pulley on the motor and does not require removal of the system control board, although it must be temporarily loosened to gain some clearance.
