Maybe someone's answered this question already - there's a LOT of posts and little time to read them all...but I want to know: is there any difference between the SFT-100 and the SGT-100 other than the picture of a dog looking into a phonograph horn on the SFT-100 that's not found on the SGT-100? Or is there some other difference? Seems like I've seen someone selling an "SGT-100" on eBay with the dog on the front - I wonder if they just put the wrong model number, or if early SGT-100 units have this. Anyone know more? |

I'd like to thank Tom Howe for giving me info. on this issue. For anyone else interested, Tom says that the SFT-100 and SGT-100 are mechanically identical, but the SGT-100 has some minor circuit board revisions, mainly to prevent resonance problems from the Aegis radar system that was undergoing sea trials on the U.S.S. Ticonderoga. Interesting, right? |
