Right now I want to sell the entire lot, pick up only. About 500+ discs including:
1 Service Test disc (for lab use)
1 Service Alignment disc
2 copys of The Story of O, one still sealed
Birth of a Nation, second disc only (unreleased test pressing)
Suspicion (unreleased test pressing)
A Walk Through the Universe (very good condition)
Space Shuttle STS 5,6,7 (interactive)
The Entertainment Game (interactive)
Murder, Anyone? (interactive)
5 demo/sampler discs
About 50 titles never opened
8 prototype 3 piece square caddys (common titles inside)
20 unlabeled white caddys (common titles inside)
1 unlabeled grey caddy. I was told they were only used in R&D
Many test pressings in various caddys with hand written serial numbers on the discs.
23 spare cartridges. Unknown if used or NOS but all I tried worked well
Working SGT 250 player
SJT 100 (unknown if works)
SKT 400 Working
SGT 250 Working but may need adjustment?
SFT 100 R&D lab modified with some kind of serial remote control. Works.
Several remotes

I purchased a large lot several years ago from an unknown (he chose to remain anonymous) engineer and added it to my collection. I have the collection inventoried for which movies are test pressings, ect.

There are also 2 Digital Command video monitors that you can take with the lot. They work but the colors are off.

I'll start out asking $1000 for the entire lot. Right now I'm not interested in parting out the lot otherwise I would ebay. Any interest email to steam4heat@yahoo.com

Many interested but no takers yet. Most are interested in pieces of the lot or if I can ship. Even if I ship cost can be prohibitive. But if you're still interested in picking up the lot I'm reducing my asking price to $800. I also forgot to add in the listing I have the Service manuals for the SGT 200, SGT250 and SFT 100, and the owners manual for the SGT 250.

Man! I'd pay for shipping to obtain all of this stuff! How much would you charge just for the cartridges?!? I would buy it a box full at a time if you would allow shipping. Too bad!

Wonder if he's found a home for these by now? I'd buy just the test pressings, Story of O and whatever other discs weren't released to the public!

Hi everybody,

I still have the lot. I was hoping to avoid shipping because of the volume, but if someone wanted to pay for shipping, the shipping materials and a small handling fee I would consider it. Please don't ask how much to ship because I really have no idea.

600 discs is a more accurate estimate. That would be about 800 pounds just for the discs. Add five players and that would probablly make shipping by a regular carrier prohibitive. But if someone wanted to arrange a more economical truck frieight I could work with that. Right now there's no immediate need to sell the lot. The zip is 19067 if you want to try to estimate shipping.

Yeah, you'd think this now-deleted spammer would have chosen a more innocuous name, especially if he wants to trick someone into downloading and installing his codec, which no doubt would install spyware or some other nasty.

And the winner is, Blind Fury. He and his family drove down from Michigan and picked up the collection. I had fun while I had the collection but the last few years for me was at bit stagnant. The shelf's are empty and there is a bit of emptiness but time to pass the torch. I'm glad it went to an enthusiastic collector.

Just need to mention I never lost interest in the format. Vintage amps and scale model machining, along with standard home maintenance and improvement have been keeping me busy. I just needed to prioritize and will keep up on Tom's BBS from time to time.

Ryan sent me an email telling me he was headed to PA, when I saw this post pop up, and all the great discs you ahve, I knew this must be where it was headed to your place!! I'm glad he got them, he is a passionate collector of all things CED. Good luck!

Man, Paul!! I really cant thank you enough! It was an awesome addition to my collection and you and your family were very nice and very helpful and generous! I cant wait to start sortin through all of it, also like I said the only thing I plan on selling is the styli! I will put a bunch of pics together tomorrow, got home at like 12:30 tonight! It's possible if I get the 100, 100% working I might sell the 100 I already have(exterior is a little beat) and possibly one of the 250's if both work (since I only want one), but the other 4 players are stayin with me no matter what! Cant wait to show everything, also Scott I will be selling any dupes (old ones since pauls are stayin with me, in such great condition! Mine are still good, but his are GREAT) I have and you can have first dibs! I will let you know after I go through everything and make a list of the duplicates I can sell. I will also have the sjt-090 ready for you tomorrow and I should ship that on monday hopefully! Seriously Paul I cant thank you enough!!! Easily the best score I have ever gotten on ced's! You worked with me and gave me a great deal ! Thank you Paul!
