On ebay look at "7 CED Video Discs" item #9135093160.

I think we would all be better off to buy our discs from people we know.
John Stevens is closest to Indianapolis so I buy from him.
Too many ebay sellers do not know how to handle, store or package CEDs for shipping.
Every time I read an ebay description that says "Discs were checked and all looked good" or "all discs were inspected for defects" or seeing pictures of discs STACKED 50 high or having a player stacked on top of a pile; I cringe.........

Hello Ron. I agree. Last year I saw on ebay for sale a very rare copy of Star Wars. The person selling it had taken the disc out of the caddy and had lain it on the table for the buyer to view.

Needless to say, I went postal, e-mailed this person and upbraided him/her for their abuse of this disc and their ignorance on this format.

I later calmed down, e-mailed them back, and educated them on the proper care/handling of this most rare of formats. I informed them of this website and ced digest volume to further educate themselves.

They thanked me and said they would contact both these websites.

I figured they would know better next time if I helped them learn about this unique format, so that the abuse and mishandling of ceds could be curtailed.

On the other hand, that same year I bought an RCA TEST DISC offline via eBay. It cost me a pretty penny, but, it was worth it.

I  have not posted for more than six months, and I missed all of you here at cedmagic.

It feels good to be back visiting amongst you all.

I wish there was someone close to me I could buy from.
