I would like to own a working CED player, but I cannot find one that I can afford. Every one I've seen on E-bay ends up going for like $150.00. Is there another site that just sells them used? Does anyone know of someone who would have some for sale? |

The only place I know of other than Ebay is here. http://www.cedcentral.com/cedplayer.html
But you won't get one cheaper than $150.
Depending where you are, try looking a local thrift shops or even pawn shops. _________________ Also a video game collector. |

If you hurry, this eBay auction for an SGT250 with remote has a Buy It Now price of $49.99:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9702253107
And player bargains do turn up on eBay if you bide your time. For example, the SGT100 in this auction (working good, according to the seller) went for $20.50:

Besides CED Central, you can also purchase reconditioned players from Darrell at DJ3928:

You may pay more from the CED professionals, but they will work with you if the player arrives non-functional. The working players on eBay sometimes arrive damaged due to poor packing, and they might have existing playback quirks that would be overlooked by a seller doing a perfunctory playback test.

Yea...My SFT-100 I got off ebay for $10 (plust $30 shipping) ended up working, but had a movie left in it and I had to pull out a 3" long metal file from the unit. If you are buying one from ebay...expect the unexpected.
Good Luck! |
