Yep, and it's MINE! Honestly I should have been able to take legal posession of it from that seller since he's displaying it stretched on a widescreen TV, but I bid the absolute most I could afford to lose. My limit on CEDs was $200 for a while, but since I've got every regular title and a lot of rare ones I'm willing to shell out more for any I still don't have. Still need the other Vacations disc, Story of O, the early demo discs with random clips, and of course Avon Gallery Originals which sold for $1025 to someone who can't even be bothered to put it on YouTube.
This disc is on YouTube now in decent quality, not my transfer or upload:

These are among the "Extremely Rare" titles. There were a few non-consumer applications for the format before the plug was pulled mainly which took advantage of the random access capability, this was for a kiosk set up at travel agencies. There was a similar one called CompuVision which was made for computer stores and showed promos for computer equipment and software; I have one of those discs which was stuck inside a player for 30 years and not in great shape but it's also on YouTube. Then there was the video jukebox program, I have 3 discs for that but still not sure exactly how that was supposed to work. One disc I don't have was some Terrytoons cartoons made for playing at McDonald's. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |
