|
|
I have a CTG100 stylus and a CTG200 stylus in stock. The CTG100 is listed as being for the Hitachi VIP1000 player and the CTG200 is meant for the Hitachi VIP2000 player.
Is there really any difference between the 2 styluses (except maybe price)? The outward appearance is the same AFAIK. _________________ Sears 934.54780150 & 934.54810350

The later is stereo, Usually the only difference is the stereo one has a little ball on the fly lead that is supposed to reduce vibration or something. |

I remember reading about that on the CED magic web site. I will have to go back and revisit it.
What you say brings up an interesting problem. I have an Hitachi VIP1000 player with the STA300 stereo adapter. Which stylus should I use on the player: CTG100 or CTG200? Hmmmmmm.
This reminds me of the fisherman on a boat. He had a problem as to what to do: fish or cut bait, fish or cut bait. T'is a puzzlement _________________ Sears 934.54780150 & 934.54810350

use the stylus that belongs in the player, the decoder is meant to decode whatever signal it gets from a mono payer with a mono stylus. to be honest though either will work. the "stereo" just handles better due to the rubber bumper on it. _________________ (2)Sears 274 & 934(80150,10&11350), sft100, sgt250, sjt 090-400, vp550, VDR3000, VP2000 & 4000
