|
|
In replacing the belts on a VIP1000 player, I checked the stylus and found it to be missing its diamond tip. The metal lead to the tip is bent and is shorter than the lead on a working stylus. Also, there is no real serial number stamped on the cartridge. Instead, there is an "A" on one side and an "0" on the other side. At first, I thought that this may have been a cartridge used for parts. Then, I thought that it would be strange to take apart one cartridge in order to rebuild a second cartridge. The lack of a serial number seemed odd also.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this cartridge is? Also, could it be rebuilt back to working condition? _________________ Sears 934.54780150 & 934.54810350
