I'm specifically looking for how it explains the "Hi Filter", which this VCR has instead of Dolby noise reduction for the linear audio tracks. I'm wondering how close it worked to the real thing according to "experts". It's odd RCA didn't just pay for Dolby licensing considering at least one of their later VCRs had it. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |

Mr. Skeen, if you are still interested, I found both the owner's manual & the service manual for the RCA Selectavision model VKT 650 VCR for sale on E Bay. Here are the links to them:

In addition, I also found a You Tube video of a repair of this VCR, which shows its internal mechanics & its on-screen display.
