Looking for some hard-to-find titles (in good shape - priority on the disc) so I figure, why not... might as well post my want list. Very Happy

Please contact me at scupbucket76@gmail.com if you can help a CED newb out.

Thanks!

I sent an email to you and pointed out the thread 171 titles with a PDF list from him as well and the ones I am getting. At least 30 titles were gone at the time I requested them but it may help you a good bit and the rest of us may be able to help you finish your list.

There is also eBay, and some of us sell there as well and if you look over the threads here you will learn quite a lot about proper storage and care of CEDs and players as well as what to avoid.

Welcome, and Happy Viewing.

Many thanks Steven! I'll drop him an email.

So far Ebay has been a crapshoot. Aside from two sellers that I've been buying multiple titles from, most of the discs I've bought have some form of stacking damage. But then I keep telling myself this is 30+ year old technology. It's not going to be perfect. Very Happy

Our members know better about these things.

Not sure if it was a member here but I got a hold of a few dozen titles that looked like they were barely used and didn't have any signs of stacking damage... rentals too! I guess I'd be more confident buying from here. "Untested" seems like too much of a gamble.

I'll look and see what I have. Your want this is about the same as everyone else's want list is the problem. Everyone wants the same titles and trying to find them in good shape is even harder. Finding good copies of many of these isn't going to be cheap either...well as far as CED goes. Expensive for a CED can be $20-$30 but I know most other formats have titles that run $100 or more, The Matrix on LD comes to mind. Not sure if I over looked them but you don't have any of the Wizard Video titles on your list. Those are usually at the top of most new collector's lists. Where are you from scupbucket? How long have you been collecting? What player/s do you have? How did you discover CED?

Thanks for helping out Josh. Smile I’m located in Buffalo, NY. I like old stuff that works. I collect vinyl and listen to them on my 63 Fisher console, I have a 74 beetle that’s my only car, and I run a Polaroid SX70 camera repair business part-time (the film is back!). I’m stuck in the past I guess. I’m a nostalgist. Or as my wife calls me, a 39 year old hipster.

I used to collect 3-D VHD titles and players… at one point I had all but two of the existing 3-D VHD releases and a handful of 3-D player from Victor, National, and Sony. I’m a 3-D fan. It’s been a long time since I sold my VHD collection off and it wasn’t until I visited a video rental spot in the OBX over this Summer that I got into talking about CEDs to the owner. I got the itch for old movies again and in the past few months bought up a few titles, fixed up a nice SGT250 that I got for next to nothing, and now looking to expand my collection.
