|
|
Hello fellow CED enthusiasts. I have an RCA SJT-200 player that has an issue I am puzzled with. During low light scenes it's pretty evident on pretty much any disk regardless of the wear there is a flicking ghosting effect that moves from left to right. I changed the stylus out with a brand new one thinking that was the issue, adjusted the turntable height which helped with some skipping and distortion issues on worn discs, but will not resolve the ghosting problem. Is the turntable timing perhaps out of whack causing the video to be out of sync? Is there a way to adjust the turntable speed? Any input is greatly appreciated. This particular player was NOS and was used lightly before it was recently brought out of storage. |

Most appreciated. After watching a movie last night I noticed it comes and goes but is more noticeable in low light scenes. |

How are you feeding it to your set?
And what is your TV model? _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

Composite video directly to my Sony HDTV. I connected it to a smaller LCD when I was testing it out and it was less noticeable but still there. |
