| Just wondering offhand, were there any CEDs released that had any advertisements or previews or what have you on them? Or were they all just the film? |

| Pretty cool. I'll have to be more thorough when watching movies. |

Children of the Corn (from Embassy) starts with a preview for "The Champions", which never came out on CED.
Network from MGM has a number of short MGM previews at the end including 2001- funny thing is that movie was already time-compressed just to fit on one disc, so it must have been sped up even more to make room for the previews!
Raiders of the Lost Ark has a teaser trailer for Temple of Doom, which was present on all early video editions.
The Faerie Tale Theatre discs all have a promo at the end for the entire series.
My Dinner With Andre (from Pacific Arts) has a few previews at the end- one of which is "Koyaanisqatsi" which never came out on CED. (The Endless Summer may also have the same previews, will have to watch that one again.)
As far as "extras" go, Mickey's Christmas Carol has a making-of segment which was rather rare for the time. The Disney Gold Editions all start out with the same Disney history segment. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |
