Check out his Kickstarter! I think this could be a really good grassroots-style Documentary and could possibly help shed some light on our nearly-forgotten media.
I've pledged and even offered to share my collection and my (limited) knowledge! I've even opened up my Quadraphonic collection because you can't mention RCA without mentioning innovation (Quad) and there would be no CED if it had not been for the Supervinyl brought about by the Quadradisc! |

I'm afraid he's not having much luck raising funds...maybe it's the Tumblr page. It's a bit eclectic. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

It's intriguing. I do enjoy a good documentary. He's welcome to come visit me in Washington. |

He's done some local publicity for it this week- I wanted to go up for it but it's 8 hours away from me. I've invited him to come by my place though. I'm a bit tight on funds right now so I can't donate a whole lot, but I told him I'd give him my donations in person if he comes here. He's supposed to be going to another get-together in another part of the country too.
I'm still waiting for someone to do a DEFINITIVE history of home video, which ideally would run for several hours. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |

I hear that, the longer the better! The many unsuccessful and semi-successful home video and similar professional formats (like U-Matic and open-reel formats) deserve to get some real and permanent recognition, instead of being relegated to fringe YouTube channels. Cartrivision, 1/2 inch EIAJ, and all the rest added to the development of the successful formats. _________________ SJT100
