Here's an interesting article on the current situation with RadioShack:

The article includes some old commercials of their CB radio line and the giant cell phone from the 1980s. Also last year's Superbowl commercial that shows a store quickly transitioning from the 1980s to the present. Lot's of 80s tech in that, but I didn't see a 16-301 CED player.

I never saw discs being sold in Radio Shack stores- did they ever have them?
