My RCA model SFT100W needs maintenance, and I do not know anything about repairing CED players. Can any one on here refer me to a technician who is skilled with CED players that I could hire to work on my CED player? I live in San Diego, California, and I would like to mail my CED player to them to work on it. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much. _________________ RADIO CORPORATION OF AMERICA

Go to CEDmagic.com and you will find some tutorials on player repair.
Also, post the problem(s) with your player on this thread. You will have to explain what the player is doing or not doing in order for someone to help you. _________________ Sears 934-54780150 & 934.54810350,

I think my CED player has a common problem. When I play a disc, the colours go in & out; sometimes the colour will be fine, and then it will go to black & white for a few seconds. The other problem happens when I am starting & stopping playback on a disc; when I flip the switch to play or load/unload, it will make a high-pitched "squeal" noise. I attempted to work on the player by unscrewing the outer cabinet, but then I did not know what to do. I am not sure what kind of tools or materials or needed to make this repair. If any one could offer any suggestions, then I would really appreciate it. _________________ RADIO CORPORATION OF AMERICA
