Hello everyone, just wanted to show my player in action. I've been lurking on this site for a long time but I've not posted a lot. I just got finished putting my flat belt on for the hundredth time. I've seen the fix for this player where you change the pulley out and use a round belt, but has anyone found a flat belt that will work on these? _________________ "We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone." Welcome to the Forums!
If you've got a host for the images you can use the IMG tags, or you can link to them. In post video is not supported as far as I know, it must be linked. |

Hi!! Welcome to the forums!
Unfortunately there is no flat belt that will work The real belt had a thicker bottom so it could stay on the pulley when the turntable raised up to play a disc! There is an alternative to the expensive metal pulley though! But you have to groove the existing pulley or have someone do it for you! There is a couple people here who do it, but charlie bertram aka cbertra2 on here, is very good at this so try and contact him! _________________ I dont own

Dad has used the grooved pulleys on several of those model players with the round belt to great success. It's really the only way to go now that the other belt isn't available. |
