What's the story behind this stamp on a CED I purchased?

I picked up a copy of Jane Fonda as people have said that it is a fairly cheap way to test stereo players channels. When it arrived It is hard not to notice the red "RCA Property" stamp on the label. What is the story here, is this fairly common to see? Thanks all!

Looks like another case of RCA Videodiscs taking care of their employees like it appears they did throughout it's lifetime.

rca emploees were encouraged to take discs that were pulled at random from the line to their houses to watch the discs as a way of quality control

I have several of these titles, they just seem special. I sold about a dozen of them to Tony.

That would be great! I really need to do a wish list one of these days, I just keep seeing things I like and just buying them up. I am probably over paying, too.

Is your ebay seller name different than Beetlescott? How do I find you? Thanks!

We had an employee disc library at the Bloomington plant. That stamp was on all the discs. They had the same at Rockville Rd.

Yeah I had 25 or so when the axe fell. I still have my old SGT100 player that I added a stereo board to in storage. I dont think I have any discs at all anymore.

I believe he mentioned it's something like 'cedaddict..." Try an advanced search in eBay and use the specific ID search...it should give you close matches and go from there.
