I have 2 SFT100 players. One has a lot of ghosting and skipping. The second one sometimes plays clearly and sometimes goes to B&W for a bit then back to colour. Seems to help if I jiggle the function lever or turn it to off and back to play. Are there any adjustments I can make?

moving the function lever alters the height of the turn table, so if its the height you want to adjust i think you have to remove the turntable ( or maybe its just the cap on the stem ) and in the stem of the turntable there is a set screw that you can adjust, but i would suggest not more than a full turn im not sure how much height is gained per turn of the adjustment screw
