CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

Ok here is a branch off my variations post. Just wanted to post information about Stereo discs and blue and white caddies. I did some research and found that of 1731 titles on the CED Magic database 392 are Stereo titles. I then went through the visual database and my personal collection and found that 43 of these are available in white caddies. From that 43 titles 11 can be found in both white and blue. Here is the breakdown.

There were other titles in blue caddies as well. The Adventures of Robin Hood (CBS/FOX) and The Jane Fonda workout videos are all in blue caddies because they had stereo sound but the tracks where seperated. The Robin Hood disc had English on one channel of sound and Spanish on the other. The Jane Fonda workout videos had music on one channel and voice instructions on the other channel. Additionally The Story of O was also released in a blue caddy but according to the database it was not a stereo disc. If anyone has any info to update this list please let me know. Thanks.

WOW........ I PRESUME NONE OF THEM WERE DIGITALLY RECORDED AND THEN PUT ON THE RECORD?? (Do any of your movies say DIGITALLY RECORDED on them?? -- IF NOT,I REALLY GOTTA GET UP AND MAKE THE EFFORT AND GET ONE OF THESE THINGS!! (For movies I CANT FIND ON VHS that are not the digital master ON THE VHS TAPE!!! (Like BACK TO THE FUTURE 1,2,3 for one)))
