| I wonder how a copy to VHS in SP mode would be?? (I reckon if you used the AUDIO/VIDEO jacks between the two it would look/sound exactly the same (No loss of quality)) |

I gather he'd want the CED as is...the Fleetwood Mac title someone was looking for seemed to have a counterpart on CED but I think it was probably a Discovision exclusive (and I have it).
I will look through mine, now that I can at least view some of the disc. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

It's still there in DVDs and Movies, there's only one on the site and it's 4 and a half bucks. The name of the seller has CEDman in it...
is there something wrong with the seller?
I would have though he'd jump at that otherwise and I sent a forums email to him.
Here...you look for yourself...

There was a VHS copy in that search as well as LD, DVD and Bluray. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

Well, you can't push another person to buy something. All you can do is send a note, then let it go at that. Otherwise you might seem annoying in their opinion. I cannot recall how many times I was sent email asking for a certain disc, or two or three, and then I trekked to the storeroom, looked through the many hundreds there, found the discs and never got a reply after that. It's just part of the "job".
There's actually another Pale Rider CED available, but it hasn't been found yet. Well, by other than me I mean. |

Ol' Clint aged twenty years since then you know. I saw an article archive on the web showing him in the early days with his wife playing their hi-fi system. lying on the carpet with sparse furnishings.
Now you can't play on his lawn I guess.
For ten bucks are you averse to giving him a nice caddy?
I'm broke until next month and sorting through ten years of stuff after nearly dying last year. I'm alone in that endeavor. My bicycle ate more than my cats and I don't do Paypal.
I usually have to fix what I buy anyway. I built a nice pair of small speakers from some nice Infinity cabinets I got for free to use in the livingroom 5.1 setup and I used speaker parts I've saved for some time.
An ugly caddy doesn't phase me unless there are obvious signs of damage that could affect the disc.
I've got to run and find packing stuff on my bike while it's cool. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |

That's true, Rick but I'm not pushing either and not really interested in any reward for finding anything.
I just found one...if you found another (or manage to) that is great. I realized how hard it would be and have missed enough things like that myself so I hate that feeling of regret.
I do this searching as a matter of normal practice every day for members of other sites. I enjoy finding things and pointing out how to sometimes as it helps the members learn to find it themselves...I've had about thirty years of experience and I didn't have internet service until 1997, didn't use eBay until 2004.
A lot of newer members are young and can use some help. I had to toss some really neat vintage gear for lack of repair parts before I found eBay...you'd be shocked. Now I have too many and they were dirt cheap but I can trade and gradually learn to fix various problems. I saved for three months to buy a Tektronix 465M from a friend and then the power switch got shook apart in shipping and the replacement was the wrong switch...it's fixed now but I had to clear out the second bedroom that also serves as my tape and disc storage room and STILL I'm not sure the lousy electiral system in this ancient house is clean enough.
I have audio generators, a function generator, DC supplies, a couple portable NTSC bar generators, B-K Precision 976 and 1076 Radio and Television Analysts...
I often build my used computers up from scratch or upgrade old computers, never owned a NEW one from my first 386SX/66 MHz (which stayed with me long enough to find the limited Y2K glitch-only there if you didn't advance it ahead one second past) and Ibuild up and learn to fix old bikes.
I have synthesizer gear, CRT projectors, reel to reel decks and a bunch of reel tapes and cassettes as well as videotapes stockpiled as well as a few noise reduction units (Dolby B and dbx 155, 222 and three NX-40s plus a 200XG signal router. My Kustom amp needs recapping and I have an electric and acoustic guitar...all fairly cheap or a gift in the case of a Casio CZ-3000. I also saved for a used 16-channel Peavey mixer.
So I'm way too good on living on a Disability check. What I really needed was a woman to bug me and keep me working. Of course I know a few of you will disagree about that-after 16 years of forums, Usenet groups and webrings I know many with that feeling. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |
