I just found this old RCA television advertisement from fall 1982 for "Star Wars" on You Tube. It also features the RCA SGT250 CED player. I have never seen it before.

Very Very Nice!!! I will never forget the day I went into an RCA Store to get my tags renewed. He had the tag place in the corner of his store. I saw the big cut out of the SGT250 and Star Wars. It said "May the Force be With You.....TONIGHT" I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those cut outs!

Ugh, there oughta be a law against uploading stuff where one simply points a camera at the TV like that!

I HAVE THE ORIGINAL STAR WARS (PART 1) ON VHS and its an 100% analog transfer!!!! (I couldnt be happier as this is the ONLY COPY out there on VHS of part 1 that isnt altered in some way digitally) Released by "20th Century Fox" in 1982..

I would love seeing part 2 and 3 (THE ORIGINALS) but i have only found CBS/FOX copies that have been "Digitally Mastered" .. Quite sad....
