So I finally bought a CED player. Got it from ebay, turned it on, heard a humming.
Took the cover off, and discovered the belt is now a pile of goo. It's slathered all over the gear.
Anyway, where can I get a new one?? I see old posts about CEDatum.net but it's down....
Help? |

Thanks. I sent CEDATUM an email asking about the belt.
Anyone know where to get the proper lubricant for the system? Or what can be used? |

Sometimes cedatum has the best oil in stock and that is omni oil! Ask to see if they have any left.
If not head down to lowes, home depot or menards, and find chainsaw bar oil. That is mainly just for the turntable shaft and bearings as they need a tack type thicker oil. Singer sewing machine oil for the turntable motor's bearings, and some type of grease for the parts where it is plastic on plastic or plastic on metal! _________________ I dont own
