If I lived in that town, that would be my new tax office and the RCA signs would remain up.
Do youthink you can get that RCA window sign? What a great thing to have. |

| Back when CED Video discs were hot items, I lived in Marion, N.C. I'm sure some of you have already heard my story, but I went in to renew my car tags in the corner of this RCA dealership. He had one of his discs playing, the one that advertises stereo discs, the one with twin blondes on it. I was hooked from that moment on. The thing is, Marion is a rather small place with a farmers market. There were 4 major places in that mall town that rented/sold these wonderful video discs of ours. One place rented a disc for 4 dollars for a week! Another guy had a "CED Disc exchange program, you wold buy a disc take it home and watch it. if you didn't want to keep it, you could take it back and trade 2 used ones for a brand new one, or just make a swap. Those were the days! |
