CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

I just relisted several CED Players in the CEDmagic classifieds a few days ago. It's taken a while since we just got a new home in May and have been occupied with that. Here's the link:

For those who remember, my Dad's estate included a whole slew of CED and LD players left over from his closed store. Last year we sold about 10 or 12 of them, but we still have many left.

For anyone who is a member of this forum as of yesterday we'll give you either $10 off or 10% off any CED player or Hitachi unit in the classifieds, whichever is a higher discount for you.

That means, if you are a current forum member as of yesterday, and you want to buy one of the $10 parts players, then the parts player is FREE to you. You just pay the shipping. Sorry, no $10 off on just pieces or parts since I have to take those off.

Also, if you are not yet a collector of Laserdiscs, I'm offering free single side LD players to any member here who is a current member as of yesterday, once again. You just pay shipping. Also, if you decide to buy a dual side LD player, as a member per above statement, you will get a free single side player of the same brand. This is good for as long as those players last. Player is of my pick to give however.

Not a bad deal, I think. Again you have to have been a member of this forum as of and including Aug 5th, and that's just because some people might sign up just to get the deal only and aren't really interested in contributing to the forum.

Sorry, the sears/hitachi players went to Fury last year.

All the parts players are RCA = SGT/SFT 100, 200, 250 and SJT 90, 100, 200, plus 2 Zenith VP 2000s (RCA Clones).

I got the Realistic player from Rick, and it is awesome! I actually have the wired remote that goes with it now:)

For clarity, the $10 off and Free Parts players applies to CED players and Hitachi units, not LD players. Sorry if there was confusion on that.

The LD players are already at bottom prices and the nice part of the LD deal is getting a free player.
