|
|
Hi I am new to the forum. To be honest I came across CEDs by mistake. I was buying laserdiscs and bought a CED by mistake. It was the Last Waltz. So I went out and bought a Hitachi CED player and some discs. Unfortunately it plays PAL discs and my Last Waltz is NTSC- not to worry.
My question is, when I play CED discs I find there are a lot of lines coming across the picture every so often, each disc seems to suffer from this to a greater or lesser extent. Is this normal or is it a problem with the stylus. If it’s the latter is there any way of getting a new one or getting it refurbished?
Thanks |

Hi and Welcome to ced's! Are you in the u.s.? Would you like to trade a fully working ntsc player for the pal one you have? Or sell it?
Im not sure about the lines, I'd have to see them but you can get your stylus cleaned or rebuilt by cedatum at cedatum.net ! _________________ I dont own

Welcome to CEDmagic!!! Good to have new people coming in. I agree with Ryan, if you are getting lines in your CEDs (all of your CEDs) then i'd think about getting the stylus checked out with CEDatum. Good luck!!!! _________________ 1000 titles
