I bought 2 CEDs from a guy who bought a player from me. When he bought the player, I mailed it as soon as he paid me. I paid for the 2 movies he was advertising, he thanked me and said he was going to mail them in a day or two. I have so far sent 5 emails asking when to expect them. He never even answered a single email. I paid on 2/15 and still don't have them, and the guy won't even respond to me. I filed a claim at PayPal, and now I feel like crap. Why do I feel badly? I don't want trouble. If he had of answered and said he was having problems, or had sickness in the family, I would of understood, and waited. I would say the guy will be mad at me, and call me names. I just wish I didn't feel so bad.

Don't let it bother ya. If he renigs on a deal that was already done, he has no sympathy from me. He deserves the money taken back away from him. Why should you have pay for something you are not gonna receive?

Do not feel bad about a thing. You left time for variables like illness etc, and if PayPal researches this and they find that there was a very good excuse it still isn't your problem or your fault. You weren't being the bad guy, just protecting your own interests. What's wrong with that? You exercised due diligence in trying to stay in contact and it didn't work. So you asked PayPal for help. Happens all the time.

I, for one, try to stay away from selling stuff online because I know I'm too casual about getting to the post office and following through. This guy might be in the same boat and just doesn't realize that 2 weeks has nearly passed and he still hasn't taken a moment to box them up and send them out. If that's the case I will suggest that it isn't purposely vindictive - but calling in PayPal is still the right thing to do. If a person isn't going to hold up their end of the deal, they need to be called on it.

With all that in mind, who cares if the guy gets mad? If he sends a rotten email, forward it to PayPal to be added to your case. Then write back and say "Thank you for your message. I still look forward to receiving either the discs I paid for, or a refund. Thank you."

[ha ha! blindfury and I are simultaneously composing replies once again. at least I previewed first this time...]

haha 7j I know what ya mean..... many times I've been writing a message, hit preview only to see what I wanted to send was already written hahaha.

Scott at least you know you are in the right and two so far agree with you!

Thanks guys. I feel better about it now. I really really wanted the discs Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) and Cats Eye both still in the cello.
