Do you have a picture of the box it came in? Does it say sjt-101 on it?

i can get u a pic if u want, but it says in orange letters selecta vision, underneath it in black it says video disc player with the ced logo
and beneath that it says sjt 101, but on all 4 sides the rest of the sticker is ripped off, also the box has the stamp on it from a place in new york, i guess this kind of makes my screen name irrelevant now huh? lol oh well

Hahaha I would say stuff it with newspaper and then in another box haha. Can you post a pic so I can see it? If it's not too bad I will buy it and pay for shipping. I try to have the boxes or box meant for the player! I didnt know there would be a box for it since a 101 is a dealer demo model!

well, its pretty obvious its of no use to me, if you want this box in a box its all urs buddy, i guess pm me your information and ill try to figure out shipping, theres a fex ex near me is that cool? shouldnt cost more than a few dollars to send, it only weights a few lbs with the styrofoam...

did some more studying and found out my ced's were improperly stored, so i shoved some shit out of the way and stacked them like they should be, and i also separated the mono from the stereo, and i noticed, my ghostbusters has a blue sleeve, but a white carraige, was it originally released in mono and then stereo?
heres a pic of my tiny collection for now

Ghostbusters was only released as a stereo movie.
However, Ghostbusters did indeed show up in a white caddy, see here...

You'll find quite a few stereo movies with the white insert.
I believe they used what they had on hand at the time, it could also have been switched by an owner.

I think it will be a long time coming before you eer find another 101 box. I never saw one, and my Dad was in the business and working at RCA too.
But I did see the Sear clone of the Sanyo CED player! |

i took pics of the stickers on the stylus' so maybe the numbers will help better identify them, i would assume the one that sez stg on it is the stereo one?
