hey guys,

as i'm sure you are all aware, rixrex is a great person to deal with if you need a ced player, or need help with anything ced related. i highly recommend doing business with rixrex. he answered all of my questions about his player for sale and even went the extra mile to help me with the ebay fiasco player i had before i returned it. i pestered the poor man with a million requests and questions about the player i bought and he always answered quickly and made sure i was taken care of. my player arrived packed professionally (or better!) and was in excellent shape. it works perfectly and i'm so glad i found someone worth doing business with as things had NOT been going so well when i was trying to find a player. i couldn't be happier, and i just wanted to publicly thank him and recommend him if you are in the market for a ced player. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Thanks for the very kind words. I'm glad it arrived in good shape.

Anyone else here on the forum would do the same as I did, I'm sure. We know the headache of improper packing and getting that player we really wanted in bad shape. In fact I just today got an SJT 400 completely wrecked due to lousy packing. But the seller is refunding all but $20 because that's about all that's left in parts.

As fellow collectors, I've always found dealing with folks here to be an entirely postive experience. My only negative expereinces have been with those who are not collectors and don't really understand the players.

A few that always have gone a step beyond the necessary are RSRENFELD, BEETLESCOTT & BLINDFURY. They deserve kudos as well.

And especially Charlie, CBERTRA, who has been marvelous with all the effort he's put into helping others and making unique parts for us.

And everyone else here who contibutes who I did not name, thank all of you as well.

That's awesome rix, thanks for the kind words! Beetlescott and cbertra are amazing collectors too! Help out whenever they can! I'm just glad there is even a place to talk or ask questions about ced related stuff even if you cant find an answer at least there's a place to ask! Plus there is many people who chime in and help all the time!

Im very glad you (uber) didn't give up on the format too after your first experience wasn't such a good one. What player did you finally go for uber?

thanks for the heads up on other reputable sellers/help. i too am thrilled with having a place to go to ask questions, learn from people more knowledgeable than i am.

i ended up with a sft-100, my personal favorite. i love the look and especially like having nipper on there as well.

looks like a sjt-090 is in the cards next week also.

i'd never give up on ced after just one bad egg.....ced is so fascinating to me, and i really love it! i may be knew to the format, but not new to collecting or video tech in general. my house is filled with obscure/obsolete technology that i still feel love for! Smile thanks guys....this forum has been super kind and rixrex in particular really saved me from being super bummed when that first player went downhill!

Thanks Ryan! That's nice of you! I bought a player from rix a couple of months ago, we are doing a swap now, and when he sent them to me, wrapped seperately was a very clean copy of Dracula & Visiting Hours!!! Two titles I have been looking for a year now!!!! Ryan & I have dealt alot, I got nice player from him, also some instructions on how to take a player apart and put it back together with out having any pieces left!!!Wink
Alchemy & Deanjeep are both great to do business with. I really enjoy everyone on this site, the one who have been here a few years, and you still come in with some good input, like Jesse, Great people.
