I need the 2 screws that go in the top of the spindle on the turntable for the SFT-100 ...anyone know where i can find them or what size they are so i can buy some at a hardware store?

take those metal brackets that make the center spring to a hardware store.
they are BOLTS not SCREWS.
bolts have threads that match, screws grip into wood or plastic.

i'm getting mine back together now but they look like common small bolts, but bring the piece with you, even if you find out the size just to be safe, also they go in smooth, so if you have trouble getting them in then it's the wrong thread.

make sure you get the thread and pitch, angle of the thread correct.
a good hardware store will know, not large box one.

Well the BOLTS wouldnt come out and they stripped out using the correct tool for the job...so i need get those out so i can replace them...gonna have to use a drill i guess

i had the same issue, you just have to push down really hard to get them out.

they give a slight snap sound and come right out.
don't drill them unless they are too stripped.

Yeah, they will strip out too easily. What I do now is to set the screwdriver on the screw and give it a few light taps downward with a small hammer. That tends to help loosen the screw for easier removal.

But it's true that you have to push down hard on them while turning to keep them from stripping out. Bad screw to use for that application. They should have used hex slot screws.
