Here is an advertisement for a Hitachi CED player with 65 titles & the remote control for sale in Stevenage, Hertfortshire, United Kingdom. It says excellent condition from a smoke & pet free home, but no word on whether or not it still works.

RCA SKT400 in need of repair

-Needs a new belt
-A part which I think is the actuator/receiver is loose in its plastic
-Buzzes when powered on
-I haven't tested this cartridge

I understand that this posting is short notice, but I just found a Craigslist advertisement for some kind of warehouse sale which is happening today, tomorrow, and Saturday at

The ninth picture shows 2 plastic crates full of CEDs with some more discs between them, and the list says there is a player, but I did not see it in any of the pictures. There are no prices listed for anything in the sale. I can not make it there, but I just thought I would share it for any one interested.

I'll have my husband look in to the player. We have a second one that is in iffier condition, perhaps at some point while assessing them he swapped the lids on them
