|
|
I have about 500 CEDs in my library, many of them has come from different batches I have bought with someone else, or just by myself. The last batch was just before we moved, and I didn't even get a chance to look through all of them, and when we moved, I put all my movies in alphabetical order. So, needless to say, I have many I don't know I own. I have printed off a list from the CEDmagic list and now i'm going to put them in order with theh way they are listed with CEDmagic. That way, I can just go down the list, highlight what I have, and It will be much easier to find the movie I want. Does everyone else already do that? I have already come up with a mystrey. I thought I had the 19.98 CED Preview Disc. I thought I had it. I would of bet the farm on it, but, so far, I haven't. How do you store your CED collection? _________________ 1000 titles

I made shelves for my CED's, and they are in alphabetical order. The order is similar to CEDmagic's, except for concert CED's, I go by the bands name. For example I put Eat to the Beat in the B's for Blondie. Also I put the numbers under the letter rather than have a number section. For example 2001 would go under the T's.

That's the way I was doing it. I didn't have each letter organized, I just had all the "A"s first, then all the "B"s and so on. With this system, I can just look down the list and see what I have or don't have. _________________ 1000 titles

I had at one point and will do it again, set it up just like cedmagic's title list for easy cataloging! I haven't had the chance to organize the some 12-1400 ced's yet! haha _________________ I dont own

I know alphabetically is great for quick retrieval, but I like a different method.
I've set them up by genre. All of the same general category will have movies of that type together. Then we can pick what we're in the mood to watch. All westerns, eg, are together in the rack.
However, I also have category by artist too. All John Wayne are together and all Hitchcock films are together, etc. |

I have all the stereo ones separated, and also multi-disc sets. I also separate movies from stuff made specifically for home video. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |
