The photo below is of 2 shipping screws which I think are for a CED player. If they are, what player would they fit? I am not sure; but, I think they are for an RCA player.

The tag reads

"BEFORE USE"
Remove this metal shipping tag. TURN LEFT and PULL DOWN.

Yes, those are the shipping tabs used for the SJT/SKT models.

Shipping screws can take the place of these tabs. The screws are merely 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inch screws that can be place into the two bottom holes to secure the stylus arm, like these:

Thanks for clearing this up for me. I think that they were used on an SJT-200 player that I got from a Washington state refurbisher. It has been so long that I don't remember the name of the company. Well, I will keep these anyway.

What shipping screws were used on Sears Hitachi players?

They used a screw to hold down the stylus hatch and arm, and a plastic insert to secure the disc load tray.
