Here's my newly restored and repainted SJT 400. I did all the work before going to Tahoe, and let it sit to dry well until getting back last night.
I cannot place photo here, and have no hosting capability for photos, so this is the link to the LD site CED board where I have a photo and description...

Thanks for the kind words. My Dad did this with both an SJT 090 and an SJT 100 that had pretty bad scratches and/or cigarette burn marks on them. I still have both of those players in fact.
Yes, I did take before photos because I had to send those to the seller for the refund. I just posted one on the LD site CED board, same link:
