I'm crazy about the Carpenters. My iwfe told me when we married that she would never leave me for another man, except Paul McCartney, I said she had no one to worry about except Karen Carpenter. Alas, the sweet princess with a golden voice is no longer with us:(. Anyway, there was a second biography made last year, Little Girl Blue, I just finished reading it, so i'm in a Carpenters kick.

I JUST FALL IN LOVE AGAIN

lol alchemy! I do like that song, no joke it gives me that dirty 80's feeling I absolutely love! Another good one I thank ya.
second comment on the tube hahah

Richard always gets compared to Bowie and Johnny Rotten (Bowie was a big Furs fan actually!) - and I don't think that's fair. He's an awesome vocalist and stands all on his own.

Com Truise - Glawio
Com Truise - Air Cal
They are new name reference is obv. Rolling Eyes
I love it! Been zoning out to this as of late, it really makes me feel like its from when I was young!

Almost all my friends in my neighborhood had older brothers, and then their friends, so we saw and did things we probably shouldn't have done or been exposed to, including awesome music! Nothing like my neighborhood Late 80's a kid in every house, so many friends and amazing times in my hometown!

Ratt wasn't bad, but in know way could you confuse them with DoA Smile

It's funny, my son and his girlfriend (both 17) love 80's music and detest "modern" rap/wigger music. Agreed- nothing decent in the last 20 years.

How about something a touch harder --> Metal Church- watch the Children Pray http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCgOFdq6L9o

Didn't notice it was that song!!! I love the way he says FIIII AAAHHHH!!! My parents played nothin but awesome oldies!
These are not oldies.. well one is but oh well
For Your Love - Yardbirds
Interpol - Leif Erikson
Interpol "Rest My Chemistry"

Hhahah because I want you to think I'm cultured! Although I do like Throat singing. Look it up its crazy! Siberian, tuvan, Mongolian, Iranian all types

Kongar-ol Ondar on David Letterman's Late Show lulz back tuvian future haha even in the most isolated places around bttf! seriously haha!

Last thing I wanna do is sound like a hipster but I really like indie label music, purely on the basis that they have slight freedom to put whatever shit they want on the album. Not what label or producer has to have.

SCOTT!!!!! I didn't know you were in to soutern gospel music! I have about 35 of the Gaither vidoes, all the way back to the first one! I have been a Gaithter fan since 1970. I also followed the careers of Vestal & Howard Goodman, she is one of the founders of the videos. The guy who originally sung Lightouse was The Hinsons, one of them wrote the song, and his brother (Kenny Hinson) sang it, unfortunately Kenny died at a young age back in 1994 or 1995.
