Not sure if this is the right place to post an introduction, but here it is.
I recently aquired a couple of SGT100's and some movies.
So I did a google search and CEDmagic popped up.
Read through all the FAQ's and many of the recent posts on this forum.
There is a great amount of info to absorb here!
Saw some of the posts that you guys were listing some of your duplicates for a dollar each.
That was all it took for me to register. lol
I would really appreciate it if you guys with the dollar dups. could send me a list of the movies you have.

Welcome to CEDMagic! We love it when new people become interested in this wonderful format. It is smart to of read all the FAQs first, it takes you a long way in getting your collection of CEDs underway. Along with the dupes, do you have need of any disc that you have only one part of? We have a thread called Pairs & Spares, and some of us have listed only one part of a 2 disc set. Not sure where you live, but there is going to be a workshop on July 9th, it costs 25.00 for a fun filled day of learning about what makes these players click. Not only that, but they will have available for sale over 1000 CEDs, many new and still in CELLO. Again, WELCOME!!!!

I'm in western washington, so Indiana isn't in the cards for me.(bummer)
I did read that thread however, and if someone wanted to record the event, I for one would be willing to invest in a copy of that recording!

Nice to have another West Coaster in the club. I live in Newberg, OR, about 30 minutes outside of Portland.
CED are a source of great fun and you make some great new friends on this forum, so please stick around.
I got rid of most of my dups, so I can't help you there.

Unfortunately, we are having a house guest for the weekend. Sammie is having a friend over for a sleepover and we are taking them to the movies. So, we will have to party another time....  |

You know, that is a great idea! Once in a while, my Trekkie buddies and I get together (in a chat room) and watch a Trek movie, and do all the critiquing as we go. And, sometime, I will pop in the "remastered" Star Trek (series) in my DVD, and put the "Standard" version in my laptop. I will sync them together and do a comparison. Pretty cool, if you lke Star Trek. With Skype it would even be better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where will we chat??? FB? I have an almost empty chat room where Jonk and I hang out. we use Trillian to get in.
It is called #nightowls.........Anywhere is good for me.
