I have aquired a model SGT 200 Serlectavision, no audio, good video. I"m looking for a schematic, troubleshooting hints, block diagram or anything else that will help me troubleshhot this audio problem. I am a retired RCA Employee (ASTRO Space Division). |

Usually when a player has video but no audio a failure of the FM Demodulator integrated circuit is indicated:

Since your player is a stereo model with two FM Demodulator IC's, this seems less likely, as both chips would have failed, but I would start testing at that point, and then proceed to testing the stereo board. There is a simplified electrical diagram of the player under the top cover, and a complete service manual can be purchased from Sams Technical Publishing:
