I like that SGT250 new in the box! Don't know if I will bid on it, and definitely don't want to be bidding against my friends here on the forum. But it is tempting. Beetlescott knows how CED players in their original boxes are like a Dean magnet. It is at $31 with about 4 days to go.
I already have an SGT250, but not one in the box. I have the following in the box:
Zenith like new
Sanyo
SJT100
SJT300 new
SJT400 new
SFT100W new
This is half of my collection of players. |

| Actually, I don't know if I am going to try for it. I don't have anymore room for anymore players. My closet is full. I have 3 players in operation in the house, 8 stored in the closet (6 of which are in their original boxes) and one dead SJT200 in the garage. If it can be had for a song, I might, but other than that I will pass. I like deals like my SJT300 new in box for $25. Just needed a new function belt, thats all. |

I got the SJT300 on ebay, it had an opening bid set at $25. The seller said that it would turn on, but would not load a disc. It came from his fathers collection. No one bid on it, I put in a bid for like $40 and I got it for $25. It was new in the box, the function belt melted over the years from storage and lack of use. I cleaned up the goo, put a new belt on and it ran perfectly, nice and quiet. It came complete, new in the box. One of the best deals I got.
I got a used SJT400 for $147 including shipping and again it just needed a new belt. That was a good deal too. |

OK, everyone, step aside and let Beetlescott snag that new SGT250 for his birthday! Getting this player would be like returning to his roots. His very first CED player, back in the days, was a new SGT250. Now, that player is long since gone and he has a fine used one, but getting this one in his stable is like the grail. He deserves it!
I thought about bidding for it, as I am a sucker for new in the box players, and I don't have a new in box SGT250. I have a used one that works perfectly. However, I want my brother to get this one. So I will gladly step aside.
Scott, here is hoping you get it and you don't have to pay too much!

Aw Dean, you are so kind to me:) I had no idea that I would seriously bid on this, but Carolyn was reminded how badly I wanted a new/old one from CEDpro, but he only had the SJT line that was new/old. So, she said she wanted me to get it. She got me an iphone3 for 50 bucks and a new contract, and told me to grab this one!!! I don't know who else is bidding, m***t or 0***0 Someone go after them! TACKLE THEM!!!!! .

Thanks Ryan, I will give you a good deal for my current 250, as soon as I make sure the one (if I win it) the "new" one is in good working shape. I will have to change belts, lube and prolly replace the stylus. Or should I try the stylus?????

I do hope you get it beetle! good luck! I would also just look at stylus real quick to make sure and then test with a clean, working disc you don't care about!

Hey, I don't blame you Ryan! You know how I am when I start to sell something, my palms get sweaty, I loose my nerve My Zenith has the original box. My SGT250 had a box too, but it was really in bad shape. It didn't last long.
