All Gone, thanks to Xian

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I would encourage *you* to post up some of your trades/duplicates. Price them however you want, granted some are harder to come by then others and should reflect that.

Scott,
Walla Walla.......finding interesting stuff here at garage and rummage sales is pretty much mute...audio and video-wise. Since I mentor boys, one of the things that we do are garage/rummage/thrift store sales.

It's my opinion that handling other people's stuff with respect, teaching them (the boys) to ask questions, learning how to horse trade properly, finding what they want and recycling junk, are all very worthy pursuits for young adults. Not to mention I (we) became hardcore garage sale junkies. In a big metro area, we'd be a force of nature. Laughing

Work at WWU? My wife is an alumni there Smile

BTW- since our town is pushing 9,000- you are in a big city Smile

LOL...since I hailed from St.Louis many, many eons ago, I can't really call WW a "big city", but I get your point. Wink

No I don't have anything to do with WWU, but I live near Whitman College. I did find some CED's over in TriCities at a Goodwill store. Makes me wonder (and sad) about how many have drifted through there over the years I've been here. For a town with three universities, it's woefully conservative/religious/white here still....wine industry is slowly changing this however. Cool

BBQ.....hmmm, not really famous for that here but I can ask around. Some nice restaurants around and they would be my treat. Better give me a second choice cuisine though....just in case the BBQ doesn't pan out. We have good Thai, BTW.....where might you be driving from?

350 miles south west --> Sweet Home,Or

Hua's Mongolian BBQ 1642 Plaza Way according to Street and Trips anyway. I have a buddy that's doing http://www.smokechasing.com/ an excuse to go *somewhere* for lunch Smile
Probably stop into Stonehenge on the way back as well.

Ahhh...OK. I've eaten there one time....absolutely nothing fancy. You pile up the food you want in a bowl....then a cook grills it all on a big flame driven hot grill while you watch.

Story; I went in with a young friend of mine...we both grabbed bowls and started piling on food (he'd been there before). I noticed that the food was almost frozen. I was like, "Jesse, this food is almost frozen...I don't think I can eat it." He laughed and said no, they grill it next. The cook was not present and the grill was not on....what was I supposed to think? Rolling Eyes

It's right next to China Buffet, which is an all you can eat Chinese Buffet (obviously). Anyway, if you're thinking southern BBQ, Hua's Mongolian is not that...good though. I ride too, but not much of a group/club MC rider.

http://www.holeinthewallbbq.com/menu.html is more what we are thinking. So why does Hua's have BBQ in the name? false advertising me thinks Smile

Matt Watkins is the mayor of Tri-Cities, so maybe I'll see if knows any good local ones also.

So what do you ride and how often do you get out? I'm on an '04 FJR as far as group rides goes, our group outings consist of me and occasionally 1 or 2 other guys.

I dunno...probably their version of 'BBQ"...maybe there was BBQ sauce in there....don't remember. Never been to the place in Eugene....menu looks very cool however. I'm sure there's decent BBQ in the TriCities somewhere.

I'll ask my young friend Jesse about BBQ here...he's a foodie.

Cool ride.....mine is a '94 1400 Intruder (Suzuki). I bought it new in a crate from the dealer. Had it ever since....just can't seem to let it go and it's super low mileage. I ride above 48 degrees and only on nice days. We're into the season now and so about twice a week. All my friends who ride have had bad wrecks and it's made me a bit timid about the frequency. I used to ride almost every afternoon to relax.

Scott,
Wow....are all those movies from my list, titles you want? Even the partials (Part 2)? And you want the duplications, or just one? That would be fantastic to see those go to a good home. I kept quite a few cartoon titles...I have two sons and hopefully, I'll have grandchildren someday instead of dogs. Rolling Eyes

Let me think about that event in OR and I'll get back to ya.
