CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

The family is getting upset with my takeover of the den with CED players, and the ultimatum has just come down from my wife to clear them out by the end of June. So I'll be parting out this following group of players for about the next 3-4 weeks:

Zenith VP2000
SFT 100W
SGT 075
SGT 200
SGT 250
SJT 90
SJT 100
SJT 200
SJT 300

I have at least one of each and some models even up to four or five. Many have just a broken gear or little problem, but they have to go. Many have nice cases still.

Prices for parts will be between $1 to $10, depending on what you need, and shipped however you wish and cheaper than sending a whole unit too. Don't worry, even though I don't know as much as my Dad did on repairing these, I usually can take them apart with ease, (isn't that always the case?) including removing turntables without stripping the screws, etc.

For electronics parts, I will disconnect wires by plug connect whenever possible, otherwise I will give you the longet possible leads I can. Shoot an email to rixrex @ netzero.net with what you want.

Then what's left goes to the electronic recyclers (unless somebody here wants to pick them up for themselves). Of course all styli will be removed first and saved.

There's still a good supply of nice working players available, I won't junk those. See that other post I made entitled "List of CED Players I'm selling,,,Finally!"
