I have a few copies of The Jazz Singer, one of my favorite movies, so I popped it in my new Zenith player to check it out, and when I turned the player from "load" to "play" it went in fast forward!! Neil didn't sound like Neil!!! When it got to number "7" it suddenly went to normal speed? I tried it on my treasured SGT250, it did the same thing. I know it is It's like it's on visual fast forward that you find on SJT300 & SJT400?? Anyone ever have a disc that did that???

Scott,
Take the disc out of the caddy, possibly a scratch on the disc and the stylus tracked the scratch instead of the disc grooves. Since it did it on all players, it is either a defect of the disc or scratch. Might also be something stuck to the disc, like lint or dust or anything. |

if you do see lint or dust what is a safe way to get it off? i know you dont want to touch them, is duster ok?

There are some people who say it is ok to touch them, but I wouldn't. I know Alex, the guy who has a "store" on ebay. It is called Jays Recyclery, has some type of way of washing his discs. You might email him.
