I popped a disc out of it's sleeve today and noticed on side 1 in towards the center hole 2 small divets. They look like if you took an awl or center punch and smacked them twice. You can feel them.

So- if I were to play this, would it take out the needle, skip across it or???

I'm thinking this is why you want to always check them before popping them in the machine.

AND
They are not making anymore of them...ever.

Put the damaged disc down...and step away from the machine...

My opinion is, it would destroy your stylus! If a slight, unable to see scratch can make the stylus dancer all over the place, your "dents" are going to mess it up badly, at best.
