Just made this connection while web surfing on another topic:

Adam Lambert, of the 2009 American Idol season:

Is the son of Eber Lambert - designer of the RF modulator circuitry in CED players:

Adam Lambert was a toddler during the market phase of the CED system, but his father had a CED collection until 2004 (sold on the RCA VideoDisc Classifieds), so Adam was probably familiar with them growing up.

Tom, interesting piece of CED history. Kinda like the six degrees of Kevin Bacon. Thanks again for a great forum. Lately there has been a great deal of excitement and fun on the forum. Nice to see CEDs are still alive and kicking!
