I uploaded a reduced version of Aloha Conference disc that I added copies of the 2 caddies that I received and also added the surprise Nipper visit. Theres a story to be told about that as well. I am curious on Nipper, granted he's the mascot.... did he pass out bonuses?

| actually..Nipper the mascot had been shelved for quite some time and RCA was after a more update/hi-tech image. I brought in about 20 or 25 large plastic dogs that were burried in one of the warehouses and put together a buy product to get one free or at a reduced price for the mom and pop dealers...they loved it..when GE bought RCA I stitched a GE patch on Nippers butt cheek. Yea Nipper was Branded and anyway I think that he's still in my closet..Ill see if I can find find him but I think I have a photo with Nipper/GE and Dealers ...Ill post it...anyway GE & Thompson began to promote the Dog again. By the way the Nipper appearance in Hawaii was a total surprise and Bill King handled it very well...no-one had any Idea who or where Nipper came from...what a set up!!! |
