I have a Hitachi player and 13 movies that a relative gave me in 1984. I last played it about 1991 and it has been in storage since. I've put all of it up on eBay, and the player has one bid (the price is only $15; you would have to bid $15.50 or more) and the auction ends tonight. All the disks are up for $0.99 plus shipping and have no bids. To find one, go to eBay and search on the eBay number. Shipping is by UPS Ground, although I will try Media Mail at the Post office for the VideoDiscs if they will take them. Shipping is under $20 for one-disc movies, perhaps a dollar or two more for two-disc movies. They are:

VideoDisc Player 290487428138
Star Wars (The Original Movie) 290487655768
Star Trek -- The Motion Picture (2 Discs) 290487482354
Apocalypse Now (2 Discs) 290487587272
Planet of the Apes 290487657138
Forbidden Planet 290487473654
Airplane! 290487658348
The Bad News Bears 290487660966
Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter 290487662500
Bolshoi Ballet: The Nutcracker 290487663860
CBS News Collectors Series Great Figures in History: John F Kennedy 290487665288
The Who: The Kids are All Right 290487666844
Rush: Exit Stage Left (Side 1 of 2 Only!) 290487669087
MASH 290487670523

I just did a check on eBay and see 1,859 listings under "DVDs & Movies > Other Formats" after you click on "CED" on the left to filter out non-CED offerings. Most of the offerings are VideoDiscs, some of them collections. If you don't like anything I am offering, look around. Most of the 1,700 VideoDisc titles can be had, I would imagine.

I'm interested in most of your movies. I'm stock piling them so I can open an Ebay store that carries CEDs and LPs. Gimme a price on all that is left after the auction. Beetlescott@msn.com. Be sure to put CED in the subject line:)

I replied to your email address. None of them sold this round. I plan to put them back up Monday. If you want any of the titles, let me know which ones.

After you pick the titles you want, I'll go to the post office to get packing ans shipping costs; I think their low Media Mail rate applies to VideoDiscs.

At that point, I suggest that I just put your package up on eBay, send you the eBay item number by email, and close the auction after you bid on it.

My titles are:
Star Wars (The Original Movie)
Star Trek -- The Motion Picture (2 Discs)
Apocalypse Now (2 Discs)
Planet of the Apes
Forbidden Planet
Airplane!
The Bad News Bears
Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter
Bolshoi Ballet: The Nutcracker
CBS News Collectors Series Great Figures in History: John F Kennedy
The Who: The Kids are All Right
Rush: Exit Stage Left (Two-sided disc)
MASH

Sorry I didn't get to get them right now Jim, I had some unexpected things pop up that I had to spend my CED money on. I will be back in the saddle soon:) Good luck with all yours!!!!
