I replaced the stylus in my other player, so it works for viewing my CEDs. I'll hold off on getting a new stylus for my SJT200 (if that would solve it's problem), until my other working player quits.

Hi there,
I live in Newberg, OR and would be interested in buying the SGT250 for $25, other than missing the stylus, what condition is the player, did it still work prior to missing the stylus? What condition is the exterior of the player, the cabinet and front panel and controls? Do you have a remote control that comes with it?
These are the discs I would be interested in:
The Breakfast Club
Clash of the Titans
The Empire Strikes Back
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Thank you,
Dean |

Would you take $30 for the player and the discs that I listed?
Send me an email to confirm this sale and discuss when I can come over to make the pickup and your address and phone in Portland.
The earliest that I could come over would be this weekend, probably on Saturday.

Thanks,
Dean |

I am glad we were able to hook up and I was able to purchase the CED discs.
I hope you can get your players back in operation. You can contact me if you have questions that I might be able to answer.

|
|
Below is an excerpt from CEDmagic:
Player Category: ALL EXCEPT Hitachi Chassis Fault: Defective or Missing Stylus Cartridge (Non-Hitachi)
Symptom(s):
Turntable spins up after a disc is loaded, but no video appears on the screen and the digital counter (if present) never displays the numeral 0 indicating start of play.
Solution(s):
The most common cause of this condition is a defective stylus cartridge, or the cartridge could be missing entirely, as they often are from players found in thrift stores. Install a known good stylus cartridge (preferably one that has been tested in another machine) into the player. |
