CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

Hi. I have a player and some discs that I'd like to re-home. The last time I had it hooked up, the player worked. The discs however, they went through a flood, no damage to the discs... just dirty. The movie labels are probably damaged, but there's about a 100 movies and I'd hate to throw them all away. There's a mix of different stuff....James Bond to Rust Never Sleeps concert. I think they can be salvaged with a good cleaning. I'm the original owner. I don't want any money for all of it, I just can't throw it away. If anyone is looking for a disc player I'd love to pass it on. As I stated above, it did work last time I had it hooked up, but that was many years ago so I'm not sure anymore. I can however tell you the player has always been handled properly. So, if it doesn't work it should be minor. Worst case scenario, you have spare parts. If anyone reads this and may be interested, please reply. I'll check it late daily to see if there is anyone interested. I'm in Texas. Thanks for reading......

Well..... I thank those of you who looked at my post. But, the hubby wants the player and the discs gone like ASAP. We are throwing them away, which I just didn't want to have to do. I thought someone would have at least wanted the player for parts. Again thanks for reading and have a good day.

Wait a minute- you're a woman who's actually into this stuff, and your HUSBAND wanted the stuff thrown out? Anyone married to ME wouldn't have that problem!
