Hi,
I am looking for a working CED Videodisc player here in the UK, if anyone has one for sale could you please drop me a line.

I live in Cheshire (Chester) and travel back and fourth from London on quite a regular basis so would be able to collect from near by these areas.
Preferably the Northwest area.

Any help would be appreciated, I keep checking ebay but nothings popping up apart from discs.

Just so you know you're not alone! I'll keep an eye (and ear) open for you as well. I only have the one machine (which I enjoy) - but you never know what may be out there!!

..... and whilst I think of it -- when you get a UK machine, I have a spare toothed belt and spare little black belt should you have the need for 'em!

I might be able to get hold a 'GEC McMICHAEL V5000H' player but the owner tells me that the player lights up but does not appear to work, are there any common problems which can be easily repaired? is it worth buying?

I'm no expert - but it sounds like belt trouble. If the chap want's more than about a fiver, I wouldn't bother!! However, if you do get it, either PM me or email to 'reels4de (at) 'ntlworld (dot) com' and I'll try to help. Incidentally, i bought 6 discs from a chap on eBay and he sent me another 20 for free - some of these might suit you??
