CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

I was helping my grandmother clean out her attic and found a RCA Selectavision SJT 400 in the box that has been opened but never taken out of the box. Back in late 70's and early 80's my grandfather worked for RCA and was the lead supervisor over the CED division. My grandmother is wanting to know what this is worth since my grandfather has come down with Alzheimer's disease and has been moved to a nursing home. There is also a box of disc(or whatever they are called) that look like are in great condition. Not looking to sell it just yet but just wanted to know what a ballpark figure would be for one of these that has never been taken out of the box.

I sold one on eBay that I had purchased new for $275.00, including the original box and all the paperwork. I still have one more that I haven't wanted to sell yet. It appears the interest in CED related is not what it used to be, maybe due to the poor economy. But if it's like new in the box and includes everything you should be able to get at least $200.00 or more. Maybe not on the first try. Just remember these players are very difficult to ship without being damaged. Double box with LOTS of packing materials.
